## Synopsis

Beyblade Burst (2016-2022) is a Japanese television anime series created for TV Tokyo and a range of regional broadcasters, produced with OLM and TakaraTomy and rooted in the long-running Beyblade toy franchise. Middle schooler Valt Aoi (Marina Inoue) fights alongside his spinning-top partner Valtryek, and the story follows his drive to become the world's number one Blader. Supporting principals include rival Shuu Kurenai (Junya Enoki), fellow competitor Free De La Hoya (Ryoko Shiraishi), and Daina Kurogami (Ayahi Takagaki), each voiced in the series' bright, heartfelt register. The engine of each season is a sequence of tournament bouts in which the beys are launched into arenas, clash, and are upgraded or tested against new rivals, with friendships and grudges carried from one contest to the next. Across six seasons and well over three hundred episodes, the show runs as one continuing shonen narrative with self-contained battles inside a larger arc. Its tone is energetic, earnest and warm, with a family-friendly sheen. Fans of Beyblade, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! will find the same blend of rivalry, tournament drama and toy-driven spectacle.
