## Synopsis

Travelers (2016-2018) is a Canadian science fiction drama series created by Brad Wright. Eric McCormack plays Grant MacLaren, a future operative whose consciousness is sent back into the body of a stranger in present-day Vancouver, where he works alongside MacKenzie Porter as Marcy Warton and Nesta Cooper as Carly Shannon. Their engine is a race against a grim future: each episode centers on a covert mission, with the team infiltrating ordinary lives to nudge events and avert a catastrophe they must keep secret from the people around them. The show runs three seasons and thirty-four episodes, building a serialized story in which personal ties grow tense as the stakes mount. Set in the contemporary present, it blends procedural mission beats with slow mounting dread and a quiet, humane tone. Fans of Dark, Continuum and Timeless will find resonance in its mix of time travel mechanics, moral complexity, and human relationships under pressure.
