## Synopsis

Mossad 101 (2015-2018) is an Israeli scripted spy drama series created by Izhar Harlev, Uri Levron and Daniel Syrkin for Reshet 13 and Channel 2. Set in the present day at HaMidrasha, a secret Mossad compound wrapped in surveillance cameras and technological gadgetry, it follows a diverse group of cadets drawn from every layer of Israeli society. Yaniv Biton plays Kobi Frachdel, Shai Avivi plays Micha Shuster, Itay Tiran plays Avishay Angler, Yehoram Gaon plays Simon, Yehuda Levi plays Yona Harari, Hana Laslo plays Doris Levi and Liron Vaisman plays Abigail Lerman. The engine of the show is a demanding course commander, Yonna, who distrusts the mediocrity of the agency's operatives and pushes trainees to succeed through improvisation, seduction and impersonation. Each episode sends the recruits into a complicated, unusual mission designed to test their suitability, with the pressure building as they compete for a place among the elite. Across two seasons and twenty-five episodes, the series moves through a tightly run, case-of-the-week structure with a continuing thread of rivalry and loyalty. Its tone is tense and brisk, with an edge of dark humor and a gritty, grounded sense of danger. Fans of Tehran, Fauda and Alias will find resonance in its espionage texture and its portrait of ambitious agents in the making.
