## Synopsis

Paranoid (2016) is a British crime thriller limited series created by Bill Gallagher for ITV1. Across eight 45-minute episodes, a team of detectives led by Nina Suresh (Indira Varma) and Bobby Day (Robert Glenister) investigates the murder of a female GP in a rural playground, a killing witnessed by numerous people who still cannot agree on what they saw. Their inquiry is repeatedly pushed forward by mysterious notes signed by the so-called Ghost Detective, and each lead drags the team further from home, across Europe, into a tangle of suspects and official secrecy. Neil Stuke, Christiane Paul and Lesley Sharp round out the principal cast as figures whose loyalties grow harder to read.
