## Synopsis

Beyond the Walls is a French-language miniseries that blends psychological mystery with haunted house dread and surreal fantasy. A young woman inherits a house from a stranger who died years earlier, and soon discovers that the walls hide an unsettling labyrinth whose corridors seem to shift and rearrange themselves. As she probes the secrets of the previous owner, the line between memory, identity and an uncanny parallel world begins to blur, and the search for truth grows more disorienting with each step. The story unfolds slowly, built on atmosphere: claustrophobic interiors, eerie stillness, and a sense that ordinary domestic space conceals another reality. Its tone is uneasy, melancholic and dreamlike, with a focus on buried family history and the psychological toll of unanswered questions. Its restrained pacing rewards patient viewers who enjoy piecing together fragments of a past that refuses to stay buried. Viewers drawn to puzzle-box mysteries, slow-burn unease and surreal atmosphere will find much to savour, though the series prefers suggestion and ambiguity to tidy explanations.
