## Synopsis

Keijo!!!!!!!! (2016) is a Japanese animated sports comedy series produced by XEBEC and broadcast on TOKYO MX. It is a single-season run of twelve 24-minute episodes. The protagonist Nozomi Kaminashi, voiced by Lynn, is a high school gymnast from a poor family who hopes to earn a fortune in keijo, a gambling sport in which contestants stand on floating platforms and try to knock each other into the water using their rears and chests. After graduating she joins a demanding training boarding school, where her balance and flexibility are tested against rivals. Principal characters include Sayaka Miyata (voiced by Mao Ichimichi), Kazane Aoba (voiced by Kaede Hondo), Non Toyoguchi (voiced by Saori Onishi) and Hanabi Kawai (voiced by Rena Maeda), each bringing a distinct competitive style. Each episode builds toward a bout, with training montages and rivalries shaping the arc. The series plays its premise with earnest commitment, pairing a deadpan sports structure with fanservice-heavy staging and a shonen-style underdog energy. Tone is breezy and irreverent, with comic sincerity around athletic effort. Fans of Yowamushi Pedal, Chihayafuru and Ikki Tousen will find resonance in its blend of competitive sport, girls-in-school comedy and absurd physical spectacle.
