## Synopsis

Crazyhead (2016) is a British supernatural comedy miniseries created by Howard Overman and broadcast on E4. Across six forty-three-minute episodes, Cara Theobold plays Amy and Susan Wokoma plays Raquel, two friends in their early twenties who are trying to steer through unsteady careers, love lives and flatmate chaos in modern London. Their secret side job is hunting demons, and the engine of the show is the collision between their ordinary adult worries and the supernatural threats they must keep hidden from everyone around them. Arinze Kene and Lewis Reeves appear among the supporting cast, with Tony Curran adding a darker presence. Each episode mixes brisk slapstick action with cheeky banter and bruised, affectionate sincerity about friendship. The tone is irreverent and breezy, with a gritty, grounded London texture beneath the gore. Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Being Human will find the same mix of monster fights and youthful self-deprecation. Its short run makes it an easy weekend watch that ends with the story left open.
