## Synopsis

Strange Days at Blake Holsey High (2002-2006) is a Canadian science fiction mystery series created by Jim Rapsas for Global TV. Set at a fictional boarding school, the show follows a science club whose members, led by Josie Trent (Emma Taylor-Isherwood) and Corrine Baxter (Shadia Simmons), investigate odd happenings tied to a wormhole on the school grounds. Lucas Randall (Michael Seater) and Marshall Wheeler (Noah Reid) bring romantic tension and comic friction to the group, while Vaughn Pearson (Robert Clark) and Victor Pearson (Lawrence Bayne) add family and rivalry threads. Each twenty-five minute episode pairs a self-contained puzzle with a slower arc about schoolwork, friendship, and first attractions. The atmosphere is brisk, earnest, and playful, with a warm sense of wonder that rewards curious viewers. Its scientific reasoning gives the preternatural events a grounded logic that young audiences can follow. Across four seasons the series balances standalone mysteries with an unfolding larger story, and it suits families looking for science fiction that is safe for children. Fans of Eerie, Indiana, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Doctor Who will find a similar blend of teen life and uncanny discovery.
