## Synopsis

D-Frag! (2014) is a Japanese anime comedy series produced by Brain's Base and DAX Production and broadcast on TOKYO MX. Its single season of twelve roughly 23-minute episodes is a self-contained comedy with a continuing premise rather than a serialized plot. Kazama Kenji (Katsuyuki Konishi) likes to believe he is a delinquent, and his gang's chance meeting with four unruly girls, Chitose, Sakura, Minami and Roka, drags him into their school club. Chiwa Saito voices Chitose, Kana Hanazawa voices Roka, Ami Koshimizu voices Minami, and Mikako Takahashi voices Sakura. The engine of the show is the mismatch between Kenji's tough-guy self image and the club's escalating outrageousness, which turns his everyday school life into a string of gags, rivalries and bukatsu mischief. Each episode builds its humor from the club's antics and the reputations that collapse around them. The register is breezy, irreverent and lightly raunchy, with a harem-comedy flavor that reads as ecchi. Fans of Haganai and Lucky Star will find similar energy in its ensemble of eccentric girls and cheerful club chaos.
