## Synopsis

Good Manager (2017) is a South Korean workplace comedy-drama created by Park Jae-bum for KBS2. Namkoong Min plays Kim Seong-ryong, a former mob accountant who joins a new company intending to embezzle money, only to find his plans complicated by the colleagues around him. Nam Sang-mi, JUNHO, and Jung Hye-sung round out the principal office ensemble, and their everyday rivalries, alliances, and small workplace dramas give each episode its texture. The engine of the series is a con man's scheme tested against ordinary decency, as the protagonist must weigh loyalty against his old habits. Across a single season of twenty hour-long episodes, the story moves between office politics and personal stakes inside a chaebol-style corporation in Seoul. The tone is warm and wry, with comic misunderstandings balanced by sincere moments about belonging and integrity. Fans of Misaeng: Incomplete Life and The Office will find resonance in its blend of corporate satire and character-driven humor. The series offers a light yet thoughtful watch for anyone who enjoys redemption stories set among everyday employees.
