## Synopsis

Wolf Girl & Black Prince (2014) is a Japanese animated shoujo romantic comedy series created by TYO Animations and Yumeta Company for TOKYO MX, YTV and BS11. Based on a manga, the twelve-episode season follows high school student Erika Shinohara (voiced by Kanae Itou), who invents a boyfriend to keep up with her friends' boasting. When the lie starts to fall apart, the apparent white knight Kyoya Sata (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai) offers to play along, only to reveal himself as a blackhearted prince who expects Erika to be at his beck and call. Her schoolmates, including Ayumi Sanda (voiced by Ai Kayano) and Takeru Hibiya (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya), add friction and comic complications to each episode. Shaped as a single self-contained season of short episodes, it blends everyday school life with bright, flustered comedy and a teasing undercurrent of romance. The tone is light, breezy and cheerful, with awkward crushes and playful power games at its center. Fans of Toradora! and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find resonance in its fake relationship premise and sparring romantic chemistry.
