## Synopsis

Hotel Eleon (2016-2017) is a Russian workplace comedy-drama series created for CTC, a three-season serialized continuation of the hit comedy Kitchen. Set in a St. Petersburg hotel and its restaurant, the show follows Sofiya Yanovna (Ekaterina Vilkova), a new manager sent in to rescue the struggling business, alongside Dasha Kanayeva (Diana Pozharskaya), Senya (Sergey Lavygin), and Eleonora Andreyevna (Elena Ksenofontova) as staff and family members navigate the upheaval. The engine of each episode is simple: the daily grind of running a hotel and restaurant, from kitchen friction to guest problems, collides with rivalries, romances and personal plans. Its sixty-three episodes unfold as one continuing ensemble story rather than standalone cases, with scenes built around office politics and domestic mishaps. The tone is breezy and warm, with comic irritation softened by affection for its characters. Fans of Kitchen, along with those who enjoy ensemble workplace sitcoms and light soap-style storylines in the vein of Hotel Babylon and Downton Abbey, will find a familiar and comforting world here, set in a contemporary Russian city.
