## Synopsis

Voice (2017-2021) is a South Korean crime thriller series created by Ma Jin-won for OCN. Its engine is the 112 emergency call center, where a team must act on three-minute calls from people in danger. Kang Kwon-ju (Lee Ha-na) and Park Eun-soo (Son Eun-seo) work the lines, and Kim Jung-ki (Kim Jung-ki) and Jang Hyuk (Jang Hyuk) face an investigation that threads through each call. Each case turns on picking out a faint sound, a background noise or a voice on the line, before a victim is lost. Across four seasons with 58 episodes in total, the story moves from one case to the next while keeping the wider hunt running. The series is set in present-day Seoul, a city of police stations, call rooms and dark streets. Its mood is tense, urgent and emotionally heavy, with suspense and obsession driving every episode. Fans of Mindhunter, Signal and The Killing will find resonance in its procedural rigor and its dread-filled pursuit of killers.
