## Synopsis

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot (2016) is a United States superhero miniseries created for ABC.com as a Marvel Television spinoff of the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. franchise. Natalia Cordova-Buckley stars as Elena Yo-Yo Rodriguez, an Inhuman with the power to move at super speed, who is ordered to sign the Sokovia Accords. Her desperate personal mission collides with the restrictions the Accords impose, and the six-episode run builds tense encounters with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, including Yancey Arias as Colonel Victor Ramon. The series is a compact, brisk serial of short episodes, each roughly five minutes long, forming one continuous story rather than standalone cases. Its tone is kinetic and earnest, with action set against a grounded moral dilemma about loyalty and compliance. Set in the present-day Marvel cinematic universe, it is a tightly focused entry for viewers who enjoy the wider MCU. Fans of Marvel's Runaways, Jessica Jones and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will find resonance in its blend of superpowers, institutional pressure and personal stakes.
