## Synopsis

The Good Fight (2017-2022) is a US legal drama series created by Michelle King, Robert King and Phil Alden Robinson for CBS All Access, later carried on Paramount+. It spins off The Good Wife and picks up one year after that show's finale. Christine Baranski plays Diane Lockhart, a veteran litigator whose savings are wiped out by an enormous financial scam, and Rose Leslie plays Maia Rindell, the young lawyer whose reputation is destroyed by the same fraud. After being forced out of their firm, they land at a Chicago practice alongside Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) and Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo). The engine of the show is the daily grind of a big city firm: each episode pairs a case of the week with serialized threads about money, reputation and loyalty. The series runs six seasons and sixty episodes. Its tone is sharp and edgy, mixing courtroom sparring with dark comedy and topical satire. Fans of The Good Wife, Suits and Boston Legal will find resonance in its blend of procedural cases, political commentary and character-driven drama set in contemporary Chicago.
