## Synopsis

Gabriel DropOut (2017) is a Japanese anime comedy series created for AT-X, a slice of life parody with a fantasy twist. Gabriel White, a former top-of-class angel, is sent to a human school on earth in pursuit of knowledge, but he becomes so engrossed in an online MMO that he decides leaving his apartment is too much trouble. Voiced by Miyu Tomita, Gabriel is surrounded by a cast of celestial and demonic classmates and acquaintances, including Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha (Kana Hanazawa), Vignette April Tsukinose (Saori Onishi) and Satanichia McDowell Kurumizawa (Naomi Ohzora). The engine of the show is small, slacker-style disruption: a single season of twelve 24-minute episodes built from school days, gaming sessions and petty rivalries between heavenly and infernal characters. Its tone is deadpan, irreverent and cozy, with the absurd collision of divine order and modern everyday routine giving each episode a light, self-contained rhythm. Fans of Konosuba, Hataraku Maou-sama! and Nichijou will find resonance in its gag-driven, supernatural slice of life approach.
