## Synopsis

Humorously Yours (2016-2023) is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama web series created by Amit Golani and produced by The Viral Fever, streamed across YouTube, TVFPlay and ZEE5. It follows Vipul Goyal, a stand-up comedian who plays himself, as he navigates the gap between the jokes he delivers on stage and the messier emotional life behind them. Rasika Dugal plays Kavya and Abhishek Banerjee plays Bhushi, two figures tied to his personal world, while Sahil appears as Punit Lamba in much of the run. The engine of the show is the tension between a performer's public persona and private struggles, with each episode built from small everyday situations, rehearsals, awkward social moments and the pressures of building a career in comedy. The show runs three seasons across fourteen short episodes, and it keeps a self-referential edge, with real comedians such as Tanmay Bhat, Kanan Gill, Zakir Khan and Varun Thakur appearing as themselves. The tone is wry, observational and warm, with moments of quiet melancholy beneath the laughter. Fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Louie and Master of None will find resonance in its blend of self-mocking humor and candid reflection on a comedian's life.
