## Synopsis

Imposters (2017-2018) is an American dark comedy crime drama created by Adam Brooks and Paul Adelstein for Bravo. Maddie, a shape-shifting con artist played by Inbar Lavi, is as beautiful as she is dangerous, leaving her marks emptied of money and emotionally wrecked. The engine of the show is the pursuit: her former targets Ezra, played by Rob Heaps, Richard, played by Parker Young, and Jules, played by Marianne Rendón, team up to track her down, and their scheme quickly grows more tangled than a simple revenge plot. Each episode mixes sharp, sardonic twists of identity with real emotional damage, as the victims' lives and relationships are pulled apart and reshaped by her deceptions. Across two seasons of ten episodes each, the story moves between heists, disguises and confrontations in a cat and mouse structure that stays serialized. The tone is breezy and wry but stings with betrayal and longing. Fans of Hustle, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Catch Me If You Can will find resonance in its blend of charm, deceit and comic reversals. The series was canceled after its second season, leaving its central hunt unfinished.
