## Synopsis

Land of Honor (2014-2015) is a Spanish-language American telenovela created for Telemundo, a single-season run of 160 episodes at 45 minutes each. Set on horse ranches around Houston, Texas, it follows the three Gallardo brothers, Samuel Rey Gallardo (Christian de la Campa), Arturo Rey Gallardo (Aarón Díaz) and Flavio Rey Gallardo (Gonzalo García Vivanco), who set out to avenge the mysterious death of their rodeo-riding sister against the wealthy del Junco family. Their quest runs straight into the del Junco household, where Sofia del Junco (Ana Lorena Sanchez) and Andrea del Junco (Scarlet Gruber) stand in the way of their plans while romance tangles them further. Each episode is built from confrontations, secrets, and emotional reversals typical of the form, with the revenge plot and the romantic entanglements pulling against each other across the whole run. The tone is melodramatic and sweeping, with heightened passions, family loyalty and betrayal at its core. Fans of Dallas, Jane the Virgin and Yellowstone will find resonance in its rivalry between powerful family dynasties and its ranch-country setting.
