## Synopsis

Full-Time Magister (2016-present) is a Chinese donghua fantasy series created by LuaN for Tencent Video, adapted from a web novel. Mo Fan, a student branded the loser of his magic school, wants to earn a better life for his wheelchair-bound sister and his father, and he resolves to become the greatest magician to prove that social standing does not decide a person's worth. Each season follows his struggle through classes, training bouts and clashes with monsters that threaten humanity, building a serialized arc of steady power growth, comic friction with rivals and loyal companions, and small victories that accumulate across the story. The tone is buoyant and scrappy, balancing light comedy with earnest determination and family warmth. The world is an invented modern-fantasy setting where magic is taught in schools and monsters prey on people, giving the show a sense of frontier danger alongside its classroom humor. Seven seasons and eighty-four episodes of animation have aired so far, with each season spanning a stretch of the academy calendar. Fans of Battle Through the Heavens, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and The Seven Deadly Sins will find familiar appeal in its underdog energy and magical progression.
