## Synopsis

Kikoriki (2004-2022) is a Russian animated family comedy series created by Salavat Shaykhinurov, Ilya Popov, Anatoly Prokhorov, Anna Malginova and Igor Shevchuk, produced by Animation Studio Petersburg and Riki Group and broadcast on STS. Its stylized, rounded animal characters each carry a distinct personality, and none of them is a villain. The principal cast includes Krosh, voiced by Anton Vinogradov, Nyusha, voiced by Svetlana Pismichenko, and Hedgehog, voiced by Vladimir Postnikov, with Mikhail Chernyak voicing the Pin, Losyash and Kopatych roles. Across three seasons and roughly four hundred and eighteen six-minute episodes, the show makes no battle of opposing forces. Instead, each episode builds from an unexpected situation the characters stumble into, mirroring the small social mishaps children meet in daily life. Stories lean on the guidance that friendship and community offer someone finding their way in the world. Specific Russian cultural references anchor it firmly within the national animation tradition. Its tone is warm, gentle and playful, with humor clever enough to draw adult viewers as well. Fans of Winnie the Pooh, Bluey and Adventure Time will find a similar cozy, kindly charm.
