## Synopsis

My Only Love Song (2017) is a South Korean time travel romance series created by Min Doo-sik and Kim Soo-jin and distributed on Netflix. Gong Seung-yeon plays Song Soo-Jung, an arrogant pop star who believes status and money define a person's worth, until she tumbles through a time-slip portal into the Joseon dynasty. There she meets On-Dal, played by Lee Jong-hyun, a man who openly loves money yet gives generously to those who have none. Jin Ye-ju appears as Princess Pyunggang, and the court politics and palace customs of Joseon press in on the heroine's modern habits and assumptions. The engine of the story is a fish out of water clash: Soo-Jung wants to get home and restore her celebrity life, while the romance with On-Dal and the hardships of a rigid historical world slowly reshape what she values. The series unfolds as a single continuous story across twenty episodes, blending romantic comedy lightness with costume drama sincerity. Its tone is warm, wistful and romantic, with a theme of status versus worth at its heart. Fans of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Hotel del Luna will find resonance in its time-crossing love story and historical Korean setting.
