## Synopsis

Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams (2017-2018) is a British science fiction anthology created by Philip K. Dick for Channel 4. Each of its ten hour-long episodes adapts a different short story by the author, so the protagonists change from one tale to the next. Steve Buscemi plays Ed Morris, a character drawn into a shifting near-future world, while Timothy Spall stars as Ed Jacobson in another story about a family facing uncertain reality. Each episode builds its engine around a single premise: a man who doubts his memories, a machine that reads human intent, or a society where identity can be bought and sold. The result is a one-season, ten-episode run in which every story is self-contained and the shape stays consistent. Its tone is paranoid and contemplative, with moments of melancholy and wonder, and its atmosphere leans on cyberpunk textures and unsettling ambiguity. Fans of Black Mirror, Blade Runner and The Twilight Zone will find resonance in its dark speculative reach and its interest in what it means to be human. The series is a single-season anthology with a mature register and a strong cast of guest performers.
