## Synopsis

Ask the Storybots (2016-2019) is an American educational animated kids series created by Evan Spiridellis and Gregg Spiridellis for Netflix. Based on the award-winning educational apps from JibJab Media, it follows a team of small, curious creatures who live in the world beneath our screens. The principal voices include Judy Greer as Beep, Fred Tatasciore as Bang, Jeff Gill as Bing and Gregg Spiridellis as Boop, with Evan Spiridellis appearing live as Hap. Each 22-minute episode is a self-contained case of the week in which the StoryBots tackle a child's question about everyday life, such as how night happens or why we need to brush our teeth, turning the answer into a silly adventure with catchy songs and bright 3D animation. Across three seasons and twenty-two episodes, the show keeps its tone cheerful, gentle and playful, making learning feel like a joyful romp rather than a lesson. Guest appearances from celebrities such as Weird Al Yankovic, Jay Leno, Kevin Smith and Whoopi Goldberg add novelty to a single episode. Fans of Sid the Science Kid, Schoolhouse Rock! and Bluey will find similar warmth, curiosity and gentle humor. Rated TV-Y, it is a safe, easy watch for preschoolers and families looking for comforting educational entertainment.
