## Synopsis

What's New, Scooby-Doo? (2002-2005) is an American animated mystery comedy series created by Sander Schwartz for The WB, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It revives the classic Mystery Incorporated gang in a 21st century setting, with Fred Jones, Shaggy Rogers, Velma Dinkley and Daphne Blake traveling in their van and investigating strange happenings alongside Scooby-Doo, the talking Great Dane. The show's engine is simple: a suspicious phenomenon, a costumed culprit, and a rational unmasking by the end of each episode. Across three seasons of fourteen episodes each, it runs as a case-of-the-week format with light continuity. Its tone is breezy, playful and comforting, with gentle spooky scares that are always explained away. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and Mystery Incorporated will find the same warm, comic mystery energy, updated with modern settings and gadgets for a young audience.
