## Synopsis

Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor (2017) is a Japanese anime television series created by Tarou Hitsuji and broadcast on AT-X, adapted from a light novel. Glenn Radars, a self-proclaimed good-for-nothing, is suddenly appointed part-time instructor at the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, one of the most prestigious magic schools in the world, where students and teachers take pride in a four-hundred-year history. Glenn's engine is simple and stubborn: he wants to teach students who arrive convinced of their own talent, and the academy's rigid hierarchies and elite pride stand in his way. The series unfolds across twelve episodes built around classroom lessons, duels, and clashes with proud students such as Sistine Fibel, Rumia Tingel, and Re=L Rayford. Its shape is a single self-contained season with a continuing thread about the forbidden magic at the heart of the story. The tone mixes irreverent comedy with sharp action and a darker edge, offering fans of fantasy schooldays a flawed hero who wins respect the hard way.
