## Synopsis

Reba (2001-2007) is an American network family sitcom created by Allison M. Gibson for The WB, later carried by The CW. Country music star Reba McEntire plays Reba Hart, a Texas woman whose dentist husband leaves her for his dental hygienist after twenty years of marriage. The engine of the series is her attempt to hold a shattered household together while raising her teenage children, Kyra (Scarlett Pomers) and Jake (Mitch Holleman), and dealing with the sharp-tongued Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) and the easygoing Van Montgomery (Steve Howey). Episodes are built from everyday domestic friction, romantic misfires, and small-town mischief in a bright, warm, household-centered comedy. Its six seasons follow one continuing family story rather than standalone cases, with the central cast gradually gaining new members and new routines. The tone is breezy, sincere and comforting, with a heartfelt undercurrent about divorce, resilience and second chances. Viewers who enjoy the domestic comedy of Roseanne and the family chaos of Everybody Loves Raymond will find the same mix of sitcom warmth and sharp family banter here.
