## Synopsis

Marvel's Rocket & Groot (2017) is a US animated space comedy miniseries created for Disney XD. Rocket Raccoon, voiced by Trevor Devall, and Groot, voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, are a pair of scrappy bounty hunters whose goal is simple: get a ship of their own. Each episode runs only about two minutes, so the series plays out as a rapid string of small capers, quick schemes and sharp exchanges between a sardonic, impatient raccoon and his loyal, simple-minded tree companion. The stories feel like a prequel to the larger Guardians of the Galaxy adventures, showing the pair before their famous team forms. Produced with bright 3D animation by Passion Pictures and Marvel Animation, the series keeps its tone playful, breezy and light, with a wholesome comic sensibility aimed at younger viewers. Its twelve episodes make it a quick, low-stakes watch, and fans of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Animated Series and Ultimate Spider-Man will find a similar kinship in its family-friendly superhero-adjacent humor and animated energy.
