## Synopsis

Tsukigakirei (2017) is a Japanese animated slice of life series produced by feel. and FlyingDog and broadcast on TOKYO MX. Set in a junior high school in Saitama, the story follows Kotaro Azumi (voiced by Shoya Chiba) and Akane Mizuno (voiced by Konomi Kohara), who become classmates for the first time in their third year. They share the spotlight with Chinatsu Nishio (voiced by Rie Murakawa) and Takumi Hira (voiced by Atsushi Tamaru), and the four move through the small rituals of their final school year: shared conversations, quiet misunderstandings, and feelings that rise and shift without being spoken aloud. Rather than building toward dramatic set pieces, each stretch of the series is made of ordinary days, the hallways, classroom exchanges and friendships that begin to feel heavier as graduation approaches. The tone is gentle, wistful and sincere, with a warm, unhurried atmosphere that lingers on how young people notice change in themselves and each other. Its single season of twelve episodes gives it a contained shape. Fans of Barakamon, Your Lie in April and Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day will find a similar tender, understated take on adolescence and first love.
