## Synopsis

Condor (2018-2021) is an American political thriller series created by Jason Smilovic, Todd Katzberg and Ken Robinson for Audience Network and Epix. Max Irons plays Joe Turner, an idealistic young CIA analyst whose algorithm is secretly repurposed to watch American citizens. William Hurt plays Bob Partridge, a veteran of the agency whose loyalties are hard to read, while Constance Zimmer plays Robin Larkin, a figure drawn into the widening operation. Mira Sorvino and Kristen Hager round out the principal cast. Across two seasons and twenty episodes, the engine of the show is Joe's attempt to expose a government surveillance program while a terrorist plot threatens millions, forcing him to decide whom he can trust in a world of shifting allegiances. Each episode pairs tense field operations with quieter rooms of institutional deception, building a steadily tightening web of paranoia. The tone is taut and grim, with a cold, procedural sheen and a constant sense of betrayal. Fans of Three Days of the Condor, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Quantico will find resonance in its moral unease, its espionage tradecraft and its portrait of a lone idealist inside a secretive state apparatus. The series was canceled, leaving its central conspiracy open.
