## Synopsis

Krypton (2018-2019) is an American science fiction series created by David S. Goyer for Syfy, a two-season serialized drama spanning twenty episodes. Cameron Cuffe plays Seg-El, grandson of the ostracized House of El, who must fight to redeem his family's shamed name while trying to save his beloved world from chaos. Georgina Campbell plays Lyta-Zod, and Shaun Sipos plays Adam Strange, both drawn into the conflicts that threaten the planet. Colin Salmon appears as General Zod, adding to the political menace surrounding the ruling families. The engine of the show is a struggle for legitimacy in a stratified alien society, where every alliance is fragile and every betrayal costs something real. Each episode advances a continuing storyline of rebellion, power struggles and personal loyalty rather than standing alone. Set on a richly imagined alien planet two generations before a famous cataclysm, the series mixes large-scale action with intimate family drama. Its tone is earnest and propulsive, with a strong sense of impending doom colouring its heroics. Fans of Smallville, Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse will find resonance in its blend of sci-fi spectacle, dynastic conflict and moral struggle.
