## Synopsis

Battlestar Galactica (2003) is a Canadian-produced science fiction miniseries created by Ronald D. Moore for Syfy, a re-imagining of the original series. Edward James Olmos plays Commander Adama, the stern military leader of a rag-tag fugitive fleet made up of the last remnants of humanity, while Mary McDonnell plays President Laura Roslin, the civilian leader who must contest his authority as the fleet runs from relentless cybernetic pursuers.
