## Synopsis

Spirit: Riding Free (2017-2019) is an American animated family western series created by Aury Wallington and produced by DreamWorks Animation Television for Netflix. Spunky ex-city girl Lucky Prescott (voiced by Amber Frank) forms a tight bond with Spirit, a wild mustang, in a small Western town. Her best pals Pru Granger (Sydney Park) and Abigail Stone (Bailey Gambertoglio) join her on adventures that range from rescuing animals to settling everyday town troubles, while Maricela (Darcy Rose Byrnes) adds further warmth to the local community. The engine of each episode is simple and concrete: a horse that will not be tamed, a girl learning to belong in a new place, and friends who push each other to try something bold. Built as a 3D animated series with a bright, open palette, the show runs across eight seasons and fifty-two episodes of short standalone adventures that suit young viewers. Its tone is gentle, sincere, and cheerful, with an emphasis on loyalty, courage, and the pleasures of the outdoors. Fans of Spirit Untamed and Bluey will find a similar warmth in its friendships and animal companionship, all set against wide-open frontier scenery.
