## Synopsis

The Brave (2017-2018) is a US military drama series created by Dean Georgaris for NBC. Mike Vogel plays Adam Dalton, a special forces leader whose team takes on the most challenging and dangerous missions behind enemy lines, while Natacha Karam plays Jasmine Jaz Khan and Noah Mills plays Joseph McG McGuire, both operators whose personal lives strain against the demands of each mission. Hadi Tabbal appears as Amir Al-Raisani, and Anne Heche plays Patricia Campbell, adding layers of political and command pressure. Across one season of thirteen forty-three-minute episodes, the show builds each story around a covert operation, with the team's sacrifices falling heavily on their families and relationships. The engine is simple and relentless: a unit must complete a mission in hostile territory while every choice carries a cost to the people waiting at home. Episodes move between a timeline that reviewers describe as jumpy and the tense ground operations themselves. The tone is intense and earnest, grounded in the courage and loyalty of its soldiers. Fans of Special Forces, Strike Back and Hunted will find the same blend of covert action and character-driven stakes. The series was canceled after its single season, leaving its ongoing arcs open.
