## Synopsis

Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (2017-2018) is an American network fantasy comedy created by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters for ABC. Jason Ritter plays Kevin Finn, a self-centered man whose comfortable, chaotic life is upended when he moves in with his widowed twin sister and her daughter. He is recruited by Yvette, a celestial being played by Kimberly Hébert Gregory, who assigns him a new purpose: to save the world. Each episode turns on a concrete mission of good deeds that forces Kevin to confront his selfishness while his family and neighbors react with suspicion and affection. The show's engine is the gap between Kevin's bluntness and the earnest demands of his mission, generating comic friction alongside warm moments of personal growth. Its single season of sixteen episodes gives it a breezy, optimistic register that leans on sincere heart rather than cynicism. Fans of Good Omens, Ted Lasso and Pushing Daisies will find a similar blend of whimsy, humor and sentiment. The series was canceled after one season, leaving its story unfinished. Set in contemporary America, it is a light, uplifting ensemble comedy with a supernatural spin.
