## Synopsis

LA to Vegas (2018) is a US network workplace comedy created by Lon Zimmet for FOX. Its single season of fifteen 22-minute episodes follows a crew of underdogs working the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the return trip on Sunday, all chasing the same goal of coming back a winner in the casino of life. Dylan McDermott plays the veteran Captain Dave, with Kim Matula as Ronnie, Olivia Macklin as Nicole, Nathan Lee Graham as Bernard, Ed Weeks as Colin, and Peter Stormare as Artem among the principal ensemble. The engine of the show is the small indignities and ambitions of people stuck in a cramped cabin, where each episode is built from the crew's shifting alliances, petty rivalries, and attempts to find their place within a tight, repeating itinerary. The tone is light and breezy, with sitcom banter, gently absurd situations, and a warm affection for its misfits. Its stage is the airplane itself, moving between two cities that frame the story in neon Las Vegas glitter and airport bustle. Fans of Cabin Pressure, Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will find a similar ensemble comedy resonance here. The series was canceled after one season, so its story ends with threads left open.
