## Synopsis

Taskmaster Sweden (2017-present) is a Swedish national-television reality comedy series created by Alex Horne and broadcast on TV4 and SVT1. Barbro 'Babben' Larsson presents the competition as the Taskmaster, with David Sundin as her assistant, while a rotating roster of comedians including Bianca Kronlöf, Kodjo Akolor, Pia Johansson, Ellen Bergström, Erik Ekstrand, Arantxa Alvarez, Keyyo and Marika Carlsson compete for her approval. The engine of each episode is a set of unusual, self-contained creative tasks, where contestants must find inventive, lateral solutions to win points and avoid the Taskmaster's dry judgment. Each season is a self-contained anthology of new challenges and new players, so viewers can dip into any episode without prior knowledge. The format is a light, playful panel-style game show with a deadpan host, awkward improvisation and gently absurd humor, delivering a cozy and breezy viewing experience. Fans of the original British Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You? and Mock the Week will find resonance in its comedic rivalry and clever wit. The show runs for thirteen seasons and is ongoing.
