## Synopsis

Marlon (2017-2018) is a United States network family sitcom created by Marlon Wayans and Christopher Moynihan for NBC. Marlon Wayne, played by Marlon Wayans, is a loving but immature father who wants to be a good co-parent to his two children after divorce, while his misguided fatherly advice and larger-than-life personality keep tripping him up. His very together ex-wife Ashley, played by Essence Atkins, provides the steady counterweight, and the kids Marley and Zack, played by Notlim Taylor and Amir O'Neil, bring the household's everyday friction. Each episode of this two-season, twenty-episode comedy is built from ordinary family situations that escalate into loud, affectionate mishaps, with Marlon's unpredictable internet superstardom adding a modern edge to his scrapes. Its tone is warm, breezy and gently chaotic, leaning on broad physical comedy and a big-hearted message that family comes first even when the father is the biggest kid of all. Viewers who enjoy the chaotic dad energy of Everybody Hates Chris, the blended family comedy of Malcolm in the Middle, and the contemporary family warmth of Black-ish will find a familiar, easygoing home here.
