## Synopsis

Friends from College (2017-2019) is an American comedy series created by Francesca Delbanco and Nicholas Stoller for Netflix. Ethan Turner (Keegan-Michael Key) and Lisa Turner (Cobie Smulders) anchor a tight-knit circle of Harvard friends who reconnect twenty years after graduation, only to discover that romance grows no easier with age. Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park fill out the ensemble, and their relationships tangle as old histories resurface and new partners arrive. Across two seasons of half-hour episodes, the engine of the show is the friction between nostalgia for the college years and the awkward realities of midlife dating, marriage and career. The series plays as a light, breezy sitcom with sharp, sardonic banter and warm, wistful moments about friendship. Fans of Friends, How I Met Your Mother and Forever will find resonance in its ensemble chemistry and its grown-up take on love and reunion. The show was canceled after its second season, so the story stops with threads still open.
