## Synopsis

Good Omens (2019-2026) is a British fantasy comedy series created by Neil Gaiman for Prime Video. Aziraphale and Crowley, an angel and a demon played by Michael Sheen and David Tennant, have grown rather fond of Earth and are dismayed when the Divine Plan threatens to end it. Their engine is a scramble: armies of Heaven and Hell are mustering, the Four Horsemen are ready to ride, and somebody has misplaced the Antichrist, so the pair must track him down before Armageddon arrives. Each season is a serialized run of comic set pieces and farcical detours built around that chase, with a buddy-comedy warmth at its core. Gaiman's satirical, witty writing gives it a breezy, irreverent register that teases religion without malice. Set in a present-day English setting, it is a playful apocalypse with a sweet heart. Fans of The Good Place, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy will find kindred spirit in its absurd cosmic bureaucracy and warm, witty irreverence.
