## Synopsis

World of Dance (2017-2020) is an American reality competition series created for NBC, a dance showcase built around head-to-head battles. Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Derek Hough and Jenna Dewan sit as judges, and dancers such as Bailey Drew Sok compete in heats where each performance is scored on artistry, precision and athleticism. Each episode is made of successive battles that move contestants toward a final round, giving the show a clear weekly rhythm of performance and elimination. Across four seasons and fifty episodes, the format stays consistent, with the emphasis on the energy of the stage and the range of dance styles on display. The tone is upbeat and crowd-driven, with the judges offering warm but exacting feedback. Fans of So You Think You Can Dance, America's Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars will find a familiar pleasure here: competitive spectacle, bold choreography and the thrill of watching talent rise under pressure.
