## Synopsis

Dynasty (2017-2022) is an American prime time soap opera reboot created by Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz and Sallie Patrick for The CW. Elizabeth Gillies plays Fallon Carrington, the daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington (Grant Show), who is pulled into a bitter war with the rival Colby clan over control of the family fortune. Nathalie Kelley plays Cristal Flores, a Hispanic woman marrying into the old-money Carrington household, and Daniella Alonso and Elaine Hendrix round out the scheming women at the center of the feud. Each episode is built from boardroom betrayals, secret affairs, custody battles and sudden reversals that keep the rivalry escalating across five seasons. Set in contemporary Atlanta, the show plays out in lavish mansions, corporate towers and luxury hotels, with a sleek, glossy look and a breathless, campy melodrama that embraces its own excess. The tone is sexy, catty and frequently over the top, with a sincere undercurrent about class, family loyalty and who truly deserves a seat at the table. Viewers who love the scandalous energy of Dallas, Gossip Girl and Succession will find the same appetite for power plays and wealthy-family sparring here, and the show remains a satisfying binge for anyone craving high-stakes soap.
