## Synopsis

Unit 42 (2017-2019) is a Belgian French-language police procedural series created by Charlotte Joulia, Julie Bertrand, Annie Carels, Michaël Erpelding and Danitza Athanassiadis for La Une. Patrick Ridremont plays Sam Leroy and Constance Gay plays Billie Webber, two officers in the Brussels Digital Unit, a team that investigates cybercrime. Their work follows the trail of online activity, hacked accounts and digital footprints that lead from screens into the city's streets and homes. Alongside them, Roda Fawaz as Nassim Khaoulani, Tom Audenaert as Robert 'Bob' Franck and Danitza Athanassiadis as Alice Meerks round out a team whose investigations balance technical puzzle solving with the human stakes of each case. The series runs across two seasons of ten episodes each, with a case structure that gives each episode its own crime while longer threads develop the officers' personal lives. Its tone is tense and grounded, with a restrained, procedural pace and a quiet melancholy beneath the investigations. Fans of Mr. Robot, The Killing and The Bridge will find resonance in its modern paranoia, its focus on investigators at work and its European crime-drama texture.
