## Synopsis

Alex (2017-2019) is a Swedish crime thriller series created by Dragomir Mrsic and Mikael Cross for Viaplay. Dragomir Mrsic also stars as Alex Leko, a ruthless and corrupt police officer who wants to come to terms with his dubious past and become clean. The engine of the series is that the dark forces he once collaborated with refuse to let him off the hook, putting his own life and his family's safety at risk. Rakel Wärmländer plays Frida Kanto, his new partner, who has secretly been instructed to bring him down, so every partnership scene carries suspicion and quiet menace. Anja Lundqvist plays Kim Leko, whose household bears the cost of his choices. The show unfolds across two seasons of six episodes each, built as one continuing story rather than a case of the week, with each hour tightening pressure through betrayal, criminal debts and police corruption. Its tone is tense and paranoid, grounded in gritty urban Scandinavian streets and the moral rot inside the force. Fans of The Shield, The Bridge and Ray Donovan will find resonance in its compromised anti-hero and its slow-burning dread.
