## Synopsis

Save Me (2017-2019) is a South Korean crime thriller series created by Jung Yi-do for OCN, a Korean cable network. Four young men, led by Han Sang-Hwan (TAECYEON) and joined by Kim Min-chul (Um Tae-goo) and Seo Yea-ji as Im Sang-Mi, come together to rescue a former classmate whose family has been pulled into the grip of a religious cult and its magnetic leader. The engine is pure rescue-mission momentum: the friends must infiltrate a closed rural community, uncover the leader's hold over his followers, and push back against threats that escalate with every step. Each season unfolds as one continuing story over sixteen episodes, with bruised loyalties, old schoolyard wounds and mounting danger driving the plot forward. The tone is tense and emotionally charged, with a bromance warmth running beneath the dread. Fans of Vincenzo, Itaewon Class and Mindhunter will find resonance in its blend of Korean crime drama and cult-based suspense. The series is set in present-day South Korea.
