## Synopsis

Killing Eve (2018-2022) is a British-American spy thriller series created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge for BBC America. Sandra Oh plays Eve Polastri, a restless MI5 security officer who becomes fixated on hunting Villanelle (Jodie Comer), a stylish and remorseless assassin with a taste for couture and theatrical murder. Their relationship is the engine of the show: Eve wants to catch her, Villanelle wants to outwit her, and each episode moves the chase through London and a string of European cities. Fiona Shaw plays Carolyn Martens, Eve's sharp-tongued superior, while Kim Bodnia plays Konstantin Vasiliev, a shadowy figure in Villanelle's world. The show runs four seasons and thirty-two episodes, with a serialized arc that deepens each season. Its tone blends brutal violence with sly, deadpan humor, and the psychological intimacy between hunter and prey gives it an unusual emotional pull. Fans of Alias, Hannibal and Dexter will find resonance in its mix of espionage, dark wit and obsessive character study, all wrapped in a glossy, fashion-conscious aesthetic.
