## Synopsis

Yo Soy Franky (2015-2016) is a Colombian teen comedy series created by Marcela Citterio for Nickelodeon Latinoamérica. María Gabriela de Faría plays Franky Andrade, an experimental robot who must pass as a teenage girl while living with a human family. Maria José Pescador plays Clara Andrade, her sister, and Martín Barba plays Christian Montero, a classmate whose attention complicates her secret. Each episode is built from everyday school hallways, household mishaps, crushes and friendship squabbles, as Franky's mechanical literalness keeps tripping her into trouble while she tries to keep her identity hidden. The show runs across two seasons and 160 episodes of a Nickelodeon-style family sitcom with soap serial continuity. Its tone is breezy, warm and gently silly, leaning on physical comedy and sincere feelings of belonging. Fans of Lizzie McGuire, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Grachi will find the same mix of teen angst, household comedy and fantastical secret.
