## Synopsis

True and the Rainbow Kingdom (2017-2019) is an American 3d animated kids fantasy series created by Mary Bredin, Samuel Borkson, Bill Schultz, Arturo Sandoval III, Jeff Borkin, and Frank Falcone for Netflix. Bighearted guardian True (voiced by Michela Luci) and her best friend Bartleby (Jamie Watson) are the heart of the show, and whenever something goes wrong in the Rainbow Kingdom they step in to grant wishes and set things right. Principal supporting characters include Grizelda (Anna Claire Bartlam) and Zee (Nicolas Aqui), who join the pair in the colorful problem-solving adventures. Each episode of this three-season, nineteen-episode run is a self-contained case of the week built around a small kingdom crisis, resolved through friendship, cooperation, and a bit of magic. The tone is cheerful, gentle, and warm, with bright saturated visuals and light comedy aimed squarely at young children. Set in a whimsical fantasy realm, the show carries the cozy, friendship-first sensibility of preschool favorites, and fans of Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and The Fairly OddParents will find a similar sweetness. Its short runtimes make it an easy, low-stakes watch for families with younger viewers.
