## Synopsis

The King of Fighters: Destiny (2017-2018) is a Chinese animated action series created as a tie-in to the King of Fighters video games and produced by iDragons Creative Studio, Monsta Studios and SNK, broadcast across iQiyi, Youku, bilibili, Mango TV and Tencent Video. Its single season runs twenty-four episodes of roughly seventeen minutes each, built around a roster of martial artists drawn from the game series. Kyo Kusanagi, voiced by Tomoaki Maeno, anchors the cast alongside Ryo Sakazaki (Daiki Takakura), Benimaru Nikaido voiced by Monster Maezuka, and Chin Gentsai (Shintaro Tanaka). Each episode centers on fighters sparring, training and clashing in tournament-style combat, with the story pushing the characters from one bout to the next. The tone is high-energy and kinetic, with fights taking precedence over quiet character moments. Its visual approach leans on stylized fight choreography and the familiar look of the game roster. Fans of Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, Tekken: Blood Vengeance and Dragon Ball Z will find similar appeal in its martial arts spectacle and rival-driven combat.
