## Synopsis

Greenhouse Academy (2017-2020) is an American teen drama series created by Giora Chamizer for Netflix. Siblings Hayley Woods (Ariel Mortman) and Alex Woods (Finn Roberts) arrive at an elite boarding school after the recent loss of their mother, and the story follows their attempts to fit in among rivals, friends and romantic entanglements. Daniel Hayward (Christopher O'Neal) and Leo Cruz (Dallas Hart) are among the principal students whose rivalries and alliances shape the school year, while the siblings' grief hides a mystery that slowly surfaces across the episodes. Each season is built from half-hour episodes that mix classroom and dormitory drama with romance and social competition, with a sense of teen soap energy and earnest heroics. The show runs four seasons across forty episodes and was canceled before its story was finished. Its tone is melodramatic, warm and sometimes breathless, with the emotional register of a teen soap that treats adolescent crushes and friendships with full seriousness. Fans of Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl and Riverdale will find a similar mix of privileged school intrigue, romance and secrets.
